ARLINGTON, Texas – Mark Kotsay was in the air flying with his team to Texas when he learned of the A’s Las Vegas land deal in a text from general manager David Forst.Less than 48 hours later, the manager and his team – just like A’s fans – were still processing the news that the franchise almost certainly is leaving Oakland.“I feel for the fans with this announcement,” Kotsay said Friday before the A’s opened a three-game series against the Rangers at Globe Life Stadium. “Not just the fans, but the employees that have [spent] their lives here, most that have been in this organization probably longer than I have. Because one of the things about this organization is the continuity and the loyalty they’ve shown to their employees.”Most of the players on the A’s roster are early in their careers or new to the franchise, but Kotsay’s ties to Oakland go more than a decade deep. He played for the A’s from 2004-07, was a coach under Bob Melvin from 2016-21, and is in his second season...Montana House continues to deny trans lawmaker a voice
